I am at $60 already with two days left in this month

I am loving how eHow is updating earning so quickly. I am at 71 articles. My three newest articles are:

How to find what you're good at
How to cook rice perfectly
How to be your own biggest fan


My new goal is to write/work on one article per day. I read where one women's goal was to write 200 articles a month and she says she is on target. Can you imagine writing 10 articles a day? She says she writes 10 articles a day. So I guess she doesn't work on weekends. LOL

Well my goal is not that grand yet. One article a day means 30 articles a month or if I didn't work on weekends, 20 articles a month. I Can do this!

Income update

I am at 69 articles and $56.58 for the month so far. I really think by close of the month I will be just kissing $60:-)

I am working on article #70 and I am really enjoying do the research on it. I must say the more I write the more I like writing.

Anyway back to work....

I am already a little over $50

It is only four days left in this month. I am still working on article 68 and my eHow earning is up $6 since my last post two days ago. This is showing progress and I was excited to see that I was at $50.

I decided not to stress out about the amount of articles that I don't have and focus on writing when I feel moved to write.

I try to focus on the keywords when I am writing but this isn't always so easy to do. But I do take the opportunity to go back and tweak my articles once they have been published. I checked to see if they are making any money and if not I go back and re-read to see if I can apply the techniques learned about SEO and keyword placement. So far I can see progress.

Like most eHow writers, I am trying to see a pattern of which articles appear to be doing better than others. It is clearly obvious to me that anything that has to do with making money, working from home, how to lose some weight and how to make something natural are topics that do well. It may also be that these are the topics that appeal to me and so I notice them more:-)

My earnings continue to increase but I am feeling a little discouraged

I am at $44.82 and working on article 68. I have been really motivated to write lately but I am concerned about making sure I really proof read my articles instead of just hitting publish.

Even though I don't like thinking about the number of articles I have I still find myself a little discouraged that I am so far away from 100. I have to tell myself that it is inevitable as long as I continue to write. Then after reading one of my ehow friend's blog it is inspiring and yet disappointing. She has 400 articles and is at $300 so far for the month. That is wonderful and I would love to be at $300. At the same time it is overwhelming because 400 articles and only $300 it seems like it should be more. I guess that is where finding the right topic to make the most money comes into play, but it is tricking because just when you think an article will do well it doesn't and the one you just throw together makes more. I wonder sometimes.

My ehow earnings increased by $1.72

Wow I am already at $41.44 and there is still 7 days left in this month. I am at 66 articles and my How to make money (without) Google Adsense has already made $9.40. I really do think this is awesome. At this rate of growth just think by next year this time how much of a passive income I will be making. I am looking at my efforts as an investment. Not to be making $1000 by next month but to be making a solid and steady passive income in 6-12 months.

Income report

There is only 8 days left in this month and I am already at $39.72 for my eHow earnings. That is an increase of about $6 since my last post. As you can see I have learned a lot from How to earn passive income on ehow
I just posted another article How to stretch your last few dollars and this puts me at 64 articles total.

Income report

I just wanted to do an update on my earnings on eHow. Yesterday I was at $32 and change and today I am at $33.87. I am at 62 articles and have several in the works. My most recent article is How to talk to your daugheter about a girl's first period.

At this rate of increase I could easily see $40 by the end of the month. That would be a significant increase from my earnings from last month.


Remember to view eHow as an investment that will increase over time. I am receiving an increase in passive/residual income every month for articles that I wrote one time. How cool is that!

My income has jumped $3.98 since yesterday

Ok if you have been following my earnings from eHow for this month you can see the rapid increase. I posted yesterday that my earnings so far was $25.64; well today when I logged in it is at $29.62. This is wonderful!!!! It is only the 19th and we still have 12 more days in this month.


I am still at 61 articles, but I noticed the article that I just posted two days ago How to make money (without) Google Adsense has already made $4.94. That is amazing growth for a short time. I have a good feeling about this article.

This rapid increase is directly linked to the ebook How to earn passive income on eHow By going back and applying what I learned in the ebook is paying off.

There is hope

I spoke to one of my ehow friends today about her earnings. She has over 400 articles and I asked her how did she get that many articles. She has been on eHow for 2 years and managed to accumulate over 400 articles. She shared that she writes about what is going on in her life so she has plenty to write about. Even though she says she isn't make a living off her eHow earning yet she is receiving a good amount of money each month and it continues to increase. This makes me hopeful.


I am at $25.64 with my eHow earnings and it is only the 18th. LOOKIN Good:-)


I just added two more articles. How to talk to your daughter about a girl's first period and How to get rid of an UTI naturally. This puts me at 61 articles so far. I am excited.

This book The 4-Hour Work Week came highly recommended. I am working through it now and I must say so far Tim is making a lot of good sense. This is an amazing concept and yet it seems to good to be true. Get a copy for yourself and let's compare notes.

How to make money (without) Google Adsense

I was very upset when my Google Adsense account was disabled. I thought it was the end of the world for me making any money on my blog. It turns out that there was light at the end of my tunnel vision because there are other ways to make money without Google Adsense. You can just imagine how happy I was to find out that serious bloggers don't even rely on Google for most of their money. If you have been keeping up with my earnings so far this month you can see that they are increasing nicely. Just yesterday I was at $18 and today my earnings came it at just over $20. I can contribute this to what I am learning in the ebook that I mentioned earlier. If you haven't already got a copy for yourself now is the time. If you already have a copy of How to earn passive income on eHow then go back and revisit it again and apply some of the simple but effective tips and see your income increase too.

Affiliate programs are another means to passive income

Affiliate programs can add extra money to your wallet each month. Affiliate programs work like this; you get paid to promote a product or service for an advertiser. You link to their site and if a customer, that clicks from your page or article, purchases something you get a percentage. I spent this evening going back through my articles and adding my affiliate links. This would have been money missed had I not learned about affiliate links in the e-book about passive income.

Take a moment to look back through your articles and see if there is money that you could be earning with your affiliate programs.

Side note: My earnings to date is $18.00 that is steady progress.

I am going back to edit my articles to earn more money

Today I am pleased with my earnings to date. I am at $14.68; that is $3.50 more than my last post of $11.18. Remember this is residual income that I am earning for articles that I wrote previously.

I am reading for the second time How to earn passive income on eHow (Click here to view more details) and I noticed some key things that I missed. I have seen results after the first reading of this ebook but the second time around will bring more results. One of the good things about this ebook is you don't have to wait for it to come in the mail because you download it immediately. I also like the fact that it is simple to read and to follow. It goes into detail about Keyword and SEO and that is what I missed the first time around. I am going back through each article and applying what I learned in the ebook. I will keep you posted on my results.

My earnings jumped more than $1 a day

Just a few days ago I reported my passive income as just over $7 with eHow. Today when I checked it has jumped to $11.18 so far this month. That is more than $1 a day. I am pleased with this.

Choosing the right Keywords and SEO

I learned more about Keywords and SEO (Search engine optimization) in a ebook called How to earn passive income on eHow (Click here to view more details) After reading the ebook I went back and made some changes to my articles and I have noticed since reading this book that my income has increased. The ebook basically explains in a clear and easy to understand format (something I really needed) how to write for ehow. The author explains keywords and SEO and why it is so important to know about them while you are writing. The ebook also shares how the author is making over $1000 a month writing. I found this book easy to follow and when I applied her techniques I saw slow but increasing results. I took it a step further and looked at the types of articles that she wrote and they weren't anything complicated. This made me feel better because even though she has a background in teaching her articles are basic and demonstrates that by applying her simple techniques anyone can write and make money doing it.

Writing for Triond, Bukisa and Associated Content

Ehow is just one of the many sites that I am writing for. I am new to Triond, Bukisa and Associated Content. All three websites will pay you for writing content. Similar to Ehow each site makes money through Google Adsense and they in turn pay a portion to the writers. I haven't been as active as I would like with these three but my plan is to focus more on each as it is another way to make passive income. As money is getting tight and I am not getting any younger I really need to be able to see the fruits of my labor and having a full time residual income from my writing would be wonderful. It is already eight (8) days into the month of May and my Ehow Earnings is already at $7.75 and that is from previous articles that I have written. That is about $1 a day and that isn't bad at all. I have only published one article this month so far: How to lose weight with an In-home walking program and yet I am still earning from articles that I have written months ago.

I received my ehow earnings today

It is always nice to see an email from paypal letting me know that I have received money. I enjoyed a nice day out today with my girls and used my earnings from ehow to buy them a little something.

I am also learning what types of articles make the most money on ehow. My first article was How to start your own cleaning company and I have earned $26.15 so far from this article.

My next highest paying article has been How to get cheap home phone service with NO phone bill. This article has earned me $11.15. The trends seem to point towards How to make extra money type ads but as you can see people also want to save money too.

My next article might just be the one that make me the most. I will keep you posted.

My Ehow earnings to day is $37.72. I presently have 55 articles and working on several more. My most recent articles are as follows:

Since starting my journey to passive income I have learned a few things on how to make more money with my articles. I really do enjoy writing so it really doesn't feel like work. There are days that don't feel like writing and I don't. I won't force it because then it would feel like work.

My primary goal is to be self-employed because the older I get the more I realize that I have a problem with authority. Now don't get me wrong, I can follow orders but when they are coming from insecure knuckle heads that don't know the first thing about leadership, I just can't take it. But I digress.

Ehow has proven to be a good way to make extra money but it will not happen overnight. I look at my ehow journey as an investment. I can see that in a few more months and several more articles I will be at about $100 a month. I like the idea of doing something once and making money on it month after month. This is called passive or residual income and I love it.
